The morning has gone very well apart from being very cold!
The children have had great fun playing team games with our friends from Belgium.
Mrs Best and Miss Dowler have set up a French challenge for this afternoon in the Durbuy town; the children must buy one item and order a snack in French amongst lots of other things.

ReplyDeleteWe have been learning about WW1 today. We have been reading 'Private Peaceful' by Michael Morpurgo and about how the soldiers were recruited. We have also discovered that they used bayonets for fighting. This afternoon we are learning about the trenches. Are you missing us?! Have you tried the Belgium chocolate yet? Have you made any new friends?
