Hello this is Chloe! Today has been our final full day in Durbuy, we have been on the go all day! We have been through the woods doing orienteering and walked at least eight kilometres! We also had to walk back through the woods and a bit further to a Hindu temple where we given a tour of the old castle that was full of quite strange statues! We are packing our bags for the long journey back and are getting ready for a Belgium vs England football match!

Adventure Durbuy
Hi this is Erin and Grace, we would like to tell you about this afternoon.
This afternoon we went into Durbuy village. When we arrived we were set a challenge by the teachers. We had to look for words and phrases that were in French whilst walking around the village.
Then, after we all completed the challenge, we had a treat; we went to a cafe and ordered a crėpe in French. We said 'Je voudrais une crêpe au chocolat s'
il vous plaît. Merci.'
After that, we came back to the rooms and did some Maths and Literacy work.
We have now ended our day playing games with our Flemish friends and we are looking forward to the quiz tonight.

The morning has gone very well apart from being very cold!
The children have had great fun playing team games with our friends from Belgium.
Mrs Best and Miss Dowler have set up a French challenge for this afternoon in the Durbuy town; the children must buy one item and order a snack in French amongst lots of other things.
